Meet The CAST & Crew:

Brycent Hunt (Jet) is excited to return to the Ensembe Playground Stage having just finished his run as the Witches Dwarf and an Elf in The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe. Other favorite roles include Master of Ceremonies in Chicago, the Scarecrow in The Wiz, and Charles Wren in The Mouse Trap.  His hobbies include an occasional modeling gig, acting while a senior in high school and he also enjoys dance!  He is plans on majoring in theatre when he goes to college.  Thank you to his mom, his dad and his brother!  Enjoy the show! 

Paul Slimak* (Pompey) is delighted to return to Ensemble, where he previously appeared as Jimmy Tomorrow in The Iceman Cometh In his work on stage, TV and film, Paul has played played priests ("Cookie," with Lionel Stander; "At the Seminary"), pedophiles ("America's Most Wanted;" "Oz"), Nazis ("The Deputy;" "Late Night with Conan O'Brien;" "Erich von Pauli on Beaver Street"), snooty butlers ("XXL," with Gerard Depardieu), purple monsters ("The Monster in The Closet") and various lowlifes, weirdos, and psychos  ("Jacob's Ladder," with Tim Robbins; "In a Pig's Eye," with David Canary and Marian Seldes; "Working Girls;" "Guiding Light;" "Law & Order;" "The Equalizer"). He is pleased and honored to add Pompey to this iconoclastic gallery and thanks Ian, Celeste and his castmates for their help and support. As always, he sends eternal love to Agnes and Erich.

Allen Branstein (Ollie) is very happy to be a vaudevillian comedian for this show. Or for any other show for that matter. He has worked for Ensemble in many shows, notably Ages of the Moon, Frankenstein, and Burial at Thebes, the last being directed by Lucia Colombi.  He has performed at the Beck Center, Great Lakes, Karamu. Dobama, Red Hen, Working Theater, Bad Epitaph, and Cleveland Shakespeare Festival, as well as any other place that would have him.  Favorite roles have been Richard III, Titus, Bottom, Agrippa, Rosencrantz, and Harry in Harry's Christmas.  He is a co-founder of The Mike and Al \ Al and Mike Show,(a vaudeville comedy act), has been in a few films and commercials, and would like to thank Paula...because he can.

Mary Alice Beck (Marsha) was last seen at Ensemble as Linda Loman in last fall's production of Death of a Salesman. Other Ensemble credits: Anna Christie (Marthy Owens); Beyond the Horizon (Mrs. Atkins). Eva Nel Brettrager (Stage Manager) Eva is thrilled to be at work once again at Ensemble. Previously at Ensemble she has served as stage manager for Farragut North and The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe. Later this season she will be stage managing for Jerusalem. She has also worked around Cleveland with Beck Center, Tri-C West, TrueNorth, CVLT, and has upcoming work with Mamai. She is also a resident technician for the Breen Center of the Performing arts.
