THE CAST

Nate Miller (Dennis) is a Cleveland based actor.  Regional credits include: Bad Jews at Actor's Summit, Airwaves and Orphan Kiss (LEFT) at Cleveland Public Theatre,  Bootycandy (Ohio Premiere) and The Happy Sad at Convergence Continuum, Farragut North at Ensemble Theatre,  Lady Windermere's Fan, The Woman Hater (U.S. Premiere),  Three Sisters, A Streetcar Named Desire at Mamai Theatre Co., The Beauty Queen of Lenane at None Too Fragile, Loki and Lucy at Talespinner Children's Theatre, 4000 Miles and The Lyons at Weathervane Playhouse. He holds a B.A. in Dramatic Arts from Cleveland State University's Department of Theatre & Dance, with additional training in improv at iO Chicago, The Upright Citizens Brigade Training Center-NYC, and The Nest Theatre-Columbus.  Special thanks to Joanna and Ensemble theatre for the opportunity. 


Nicholas Chokan (Warren) is elated to make his debut at Ensemble Theatre. He has worked at many theatres throughout the greater Cleveland area, including The Cleveland Shakepeare Festival, The Beck Center, Cleveland Public Theatre, Talespinner Children's Theatre and Clague Playhouse. Nicholas is a graduate of Cleveland State University's Department of Theatre and Dance. Special thanks to Joanna and to Celeste for this wonderful opportunity. 


Brooke Turner (Jessica) is thrilled to make her professional debut at Ensemble Theatre. She is working toward her BFA in Classical Acting with a dance minor at Baldwin Wallace University. Most recently, she appeared in Angels in America Parts I and II (The Angel and Harper) and Big Love (Olympia) through the Baldwin Wallace Department of Theatre and Dance. She would like to thank Joanna for giving her this wonderful opportunity. 


THE CREW

Joanna May Hunkins (Director) is honored to make her Ensemble Theatre debut. She is the newly appointed artistic director at Cain Park, where she will direct the Cleveland premiere of Rock of Ages this summer. As an actor/director, Joanna has worked on productions at Cleveland Play House, Great Lakes Theatre, Beck Center, Weathervane Playhouse, Mercury Theatre Company and French Creek Theatre. By day Joanna is the associate director of The Musical Theater Project. Up next is her solo cabaret, "Natural Woman," featuring the music of iconic female singer/songwriters, at Stocker Arts Center.

Rachel M. Murar (Stage Manager) is a graduate of Cleveland State University, where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Theater and a Bachelor of Science in Special Education.Currently she is a Theater Instructor at Solon Center for the Arts She has directed productions at CSU, Twinsburg Public Library and SCA. Recently Rachel was the Production Stage Manager for Cleveland Shakespeare Festival. Rachel is pursuing her Master’s Degree in Arts Administration at the University of Akron. She is very excited to be working for the first time with Ensemble Theater on one of her favorite shows!
